Hon in Japan

Before visiting Korea, DonDon's country,
Hon stopped by Japan for 3 nights to stay with his family.

Hon's hometown, west part of Tokyo, still remains somewhat rural
as you can see in the below photos.

The white mountain in the middle of the photo is
Mt. Fuji, the highest mountain in Japan.

When the sky is clear,
it can be seen even from Hon's city
which is about 70km away from the mountain.

Hon's dog enjoys the sunlight at the entrance of his castle :)

The shrine where Hon has been to since he was born.

Hon grew up celebrating important occasions in this shrine:
celebration when he was born, the festival day for boys aged 5,
and many other celebrations (too many to count) took place here.

Every time he goes back to his home town,
Hon stops by the shrine to thank for his peaceful and healthy days,
and make some wishes for his future.

This time, of course he made big big wishes for
DonHon's health and future.

And one of his wishes was:
"Please help Don control his temper!" kkk

This spring water is used for cleaning the hands and mouth
before paying homage at the shrine.

Note: They are not Hon's parents.

On his second day in Japan,
Hon went to Tokyo station to see his classmate from Boston.

After the lunch with his friend,
Hon visited the Imperial Palace.

This place used to be Edo-Castle.

Hon forgot who this samurai is...
Does anyone know?

This is Tokyo Sky Tree tower which is now being constructed.
Once the construction is completed, it will reach 634m in height!!!

When DonHon visited Seoul N Tower to
LOCK their LOVE,
Hon kept bragging to Don that the Tokyo Sky Tree tower
will be the tallest in the world...
(to be precise, 2nd tallest...)
and of course our Don replied:

"So What?"

  2. Hi Tyamin!

Not that I know how to read Japanese (yet) but just wanted to say hi :)

Even though you can see Mt. Fuji from Hon's town, it's so far away anyway.... kkk

Take care and let's keep warm until spring!

  3. もっと遠いんだと思ってたのに、直線距離だと何気に近いことがわかってちょっとショックだったけどね。。。笑
